Nothing but good about the location of the park! It lies along a row of dunes with the Slufter behind it. I think a unique nature reserve. From the park there are plenty of opportunities for beautiful walks and / or bicycle rides to the beach from this place, but then there are better options on the island. Pole 28 and Pole 17 are good examples of this. Then the park itself, best summarized as past glory. For children there is nothing but a dilapidated playground. The house we were in was not completely clean. Anyway, vacation therefore not complained. The managers were having a hard enough time at this time, we thought. On departure we completely cleaned the house. Unfortunately, this was not sufficient for the manager and has withheld half of the deposit, which is a downer for us. A tip, choose to have it cleaned, you will lose the money for that anyway. Because I want to end on a positive note, a big compliment for the island with all its splendor. We will definitely be back although it will not be on Tamarisk.

Wonderfully quiet park. Really for enthusiasts. Lots of privacy at the cottages. Close to the Slufter but the beach is a short walk. Bicycles can be rented at the reception (reserve early).

Have been here several times. Was always good. Unfortunately this time we have a bit of bad luck with our little house: Ties in Bungalow Park Tamarisk. We had to remove a lot of cobwebs, and the oven and stove weren't really clean. In the bathroom there is mold under the ceiling or in the window area. Too bad. In the bathroom, the toilet brush is disgusting, dirty, all simple things that wouldn't make a lot of work and the guest would be satisfied. The children's room smells moldy and musty. We have never seen anything like it here. Texel is a beautiful and relaxing island.
