Pollux Bar & Food

Wonderful place, to have dinner on such a majestic ship. Very affordable meals, with good variety (burgers, pizzas, spare ribs, sate etc). I really liked to quiet atmosphere, with very calm lounge music, so you could have a wonderful interaction with your table partner. Easy to reach, just take the free NDSM ferry at Amsterdam Central Station over the IJ (it is very nice to start with a boat ride on the ferry, dine on this historic ship, and take the ferry back), and at arrival it is just 5 minutes walk. Cousy atmosphere, this place is a hidden charming gem in the center of Amsterdam.

Stayed on the botel a month ago and the food at the Pollux is very good and definitely value for money. Staff are lovely and friendly. Going back again at the end of this month so definitely will be eaten back here. Highly recommend.

Good food, with good service and the price is not expensive.

We really enjoyed our meal there. The staff was friendly and we got our food quickly and it was delicious. The restaurant has a kind of rustic theme and there were a few other guests drinking beer and watching soccer but we did not mind that. The prices fit the portionsizes and quality of the food really well. I would definitely recommend this place.
