Delirium Cafe Amsterdam

The food was horrendous, the beer was okay, a good amount at least if not the best variety in breweries. The beer chart design could use a LOT of work, you basically have no idea what to expect from the beer except for the most general of styles (it's an ipa, but what kind? nobody knows. Which flavour? Nobody knows). The price was kind of high for the quality of food especially. The staff was great though, the person who was behind the bar when we went (last evening) was really cool

Good location and beautiful view. Atmosphere on the water front terrace is really relaxing. The choice of beer is humongous. However I would expect better food offer and nicer designed menus. The burger and the pizza where at the best case scenario mediocre and very expensive. Menu is just a binder with printed plain white pieces of paper. Just 10 more minutes in Word would make it look at least a bit decent. It is a little bummer as the place has a great potential.

The location is pretty nice, especially for those very rainy nights. However, the poor service and the staff's rudeness makes this place recommendable only if all other pubs near by are already full. The only have biers, so don't expect to find anything else. Although they do have a lot of beers in the menu, if you want a specific, rare, one they probably don't have it on stock. Worth to mention they have only one type of gluten free beer. And it's not the best 🙈

The food wasn't that good, but for drinking beer it's probably perfect

Great location, horrible staff. Went her end of August. This goes past the usual Dutch 'directness' and 'rudeness', as I have lived here for two years and have had better 'Dutch' service everywhere. Bar tender was an awful man. The other guy taking reservations and peoples names on a clip board came over to our table to take a chair to another table, and just picked it up, shock my friends bag off of it and let my friends bag and coat fall onto the floor. Didn't apologies, didn't ask to move it, didn't come back to pick it up. Ridiculous. They act like they don't want your business.
