what a shame, had a funeral there today. you may notice that pc Hooft wants it gone. the farewell service had to be held somewhere else, because there is no auditorium anymore, so after the service we had coffee and cake and then all in the car / public transport to go to the cemetery. then the funeral procession arrives and the coffin of the deceased is removed from the car next to a construction fence. guests stood in a parking lot and a number of people who therefore had to use public transport could not experience the funeral. really a big shame this

Really an old cemetery. Here and there in a lesser state of maintenance. It is not allowed to take pictures here. Perhaps this has to do with the fact that here is the striking, rather large grave of the well-known criminal Cor van Hout. But you will also find, for example, the grave of Johnny Jordaan. Personally, I find walking in a beautiful cemetery peaceful and this place is no exception. A beautiful final resting place.
