They have a beautiful collection of art nouveau pottery but apart from that it feels very unvisited maybe because it probably is!There are steps being taken to make it more appealing.

A nice local museum where the history of Purmerend is well explained with many old photos to view. Never known that there was a flourishing ceramics industry here, many beautiful examples are on display. Staff is friendly and helpful.
