Subaru dealer.

In the search for the (new) family car we suddenly walked past the Subaru dealer in Haarlem and thought: Subaru as a family car? Is there also a Subaru dealer in Haarlem then? Yes, and open on December 31. We walk inside to look around, see nice nostalgic Saab occasions and beautiful new and occasion Subaru cars and walk towards the door again. Just like with the 10 other dealers that day, we are then approached by a seller. Where, however, the other sellers fell away again in hibernation with our standard answer "We just take a look." Dirk asked us what kind of car we were looking for. After explanation from us, he pointed to a car that fell outside our budget. We let us know and a little later we were shown a car that we tried to do very cool about, but it met all our wishes. Finally went back in the morning of January 2. Discussed about the price and 10 minutes later the Subaru Forester was ready for a test drive. Of course the Forester drove really well, and the deal was done with that. At the end of the afternoon the car was ready for us and we picked it up. This dealer gets 5 stars! Good thinking, no intrusive sales methods and fast delivery. In 1 day: test drive, car prepared, service, new MOT and delivered. The reputation of Subaru is fantastic so for our years of driving pleasure in our first Subura after this good introduction to the Subaru dealer in Haarlem.

At the invitation of Subaru Netherlands I made a test drive with the latest Impreza (a 1.6 of 114 hp, loaded with options for approximately € 38,000). I would drive a special route to try out all the safety features. That did not happen, I was able to drive where I wanted to. Had to ask if the anti-collision function, EyeSight, could try. Unfortunately I was not taken seriously at the end of the test drive when I asked without obligation about the trade-in value of my current Impreza WRX from 2007 with 137,500 on the clock. For now, next week or next month, asked the seller who had come with me on the test drive. He estimated the trade-in value at a very low € 3000 because of the many scratches on the paint. He called it a typical Amsterdam car. He didn't even want the car. Nice to hear - not so - for a loyal Subaru driver who has been driving this brand for almost twenty years. Not recommended this dealer.
