If you want to eat simple authentic vietnamese food, please go there. It is a small place but really worth the visit! We have been there 2 days ago 1 hour before the restaurant closes but the owner took enough time for us to prepare the meal. There was also another guest and the owner took also the time to ask this guest and us what we thought of the food and if we had anything we would have changed about the food. It was nice talking to him. He explained the vietnamese cuisine to us and we really think he knows what he's doing there. I had a PHO Thai and think that was (so far) the best Pho I have ever had. If you want to make a small restaurant survive in this city, please give it a try. If we are in Haarlem again,I will definitely be back there

The food is amazing! It is a must for those looking to try something different than the standard restaurant style food. It is more fresher and better quality. I absolutely love this place and recommend it for any foodies or anyone looking for something good quality for your money!

Incredibly good Vietnamese food! Very kind and helpful chef, can custom make dishes for you and is not afraid to try something new and/or surprise you. Take away yourself or reserve for a private dinner, he is very accommodating. We love Asian food and Vietnamese is at the top of the list and this did not disappoint. We had an excellent pho soup and chicken curry and the food was packaged in quality packaging so it stayed good during transport and heating up in it is possible although it wasn't necessary for us even though we live in Velserbroek. Highly recommended

Craving Vietnamese food, I stopped by Xixo today for the first time after reading the reviews. The restaurant is much smaller than I expected. The owner was by himself, juggling 4 tables including my take-out order. I waited for more than 30 minutes for my takeaway food. The owner was kind enough to offer me a fresh springroll while I waited but unfortunately I couldn’t take it. So he offered me a free drink instead. The price is quite high but that is because the portion is very generous. The Beef Pho that I ordered was enough for 2 people (2 medium bowls). I loved the Pho and the springroll. Will try the Beef stew tomorrow. Will definitely come back again and maybe I will call ahead so don’t have to wait a long time.

Both me and my partner enjoy the food and the warm welcome that we always get from the owner. Small shop that serves Authentic Asian style street food; the dishes bring you directly back to Asia. Whenever I have homesick, the beef stew/ pho from Xixo helps me feel closer to home. Thank you for being here in Haarlem ☺️
