Being a student at Double Dutch, is not the typical school experience we all had and didn't like. It's fun, interactive, the teacher Marleen is always in a good mood and happy to teach her students new stuff. You learn everything you need for your daily live in the Netherlands, plus some focussed topics. And a lot about the culture and Dutch people. An absolute highlight in the summer is "Dutch on a boat", meeting other students on Marleen's canal boat and drive through Haarlem while having a good time and practising Dutch. The people in Double Dutch know what it takes to make learning a new language fun. Book your course here and I am sure you'll be absolutely happy with your choice!

Double Dutch is a great school in Haarlem! Marleen (the main professor) is incredible. She is so patient and calm but at the same time very enthusiastic and energetic about teaching Dutch to her students. My husband and I attended both the group lessons and had private lessons at this school. The choice is up to you - we cannot say one was better than the other. Even in a small group we liked the approach and how everyone was involved in the class. Marleen is very flexible - you can come to an agreement with her very easily. She is also very friendly and genuinely interested about you and your wishes and preferences, and about your life. I warmly recommend this school if you are new in the NL or would like to improve your knowledge of Dutch language (and culture).

Double Dutch is the best school I have seen. Every lesson I learn something new which is supported by practice such as games, conversations and interesting excercises. An individual approach is guaranteed! Also, you can be sure you will succeed for NT2 exams! Thank you, Double Dutch!
