If you are in Egmond aan Zee, you should also visit the Egmond Museum. A piece of history of this environment is clearly displayed. Once there was a beautiful castle here. A model can be seen in this museum. Also a lifeboat from long ago. Many paintings can be viewed. Various documentaries can also be seen on a screen. We enjoyed this museum for a while.

Those who visit Egmond should not miss the cozy museum of Egmond. Special features include the old rowing rescue boat, the fishing room with a recreated shed, photos and videos of the charming former fishing village and the cheerful beach life before the war. This is where the bell that crashed into the sea strikes. Season 2018 a beautiful painting exhibition: Roeland Koning and the Derpers. There is a quest for children. Highly recommended and you can walk in with your MJK. Open until 4/11 Tue to Sun 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
