Made an extremely strange experience with this company. My business had to be moved. I had a fairly short timeframe in which this should happen. They sent someone over who recorded everything and took a lot of pictures in my place. The next day, the same man came to the address where everything would go. Also took pictures there and noted everything down. So I think that will be fine. I was promised that I would receive the quotation within a week. They knew I wouldn't have much time to relocate my business. I was assured that this will be okay and that I can count on it .... Well ... I never got a quote after that. I did not receive any feedback ... I did not understand it at all and had to find another company quickly in my need. Fortunately, I found a company that did what they promised. They weren't cheap ... but that didn't matter. I had to have a company that I could really count on. Aad de Wit turned out to be NOT this company. Frankly speaking, I find this incomprehensible ...... Just some time later, after posting my review, your answer arrived in which you write that you would have sent the quotation on 21 June. I can answer three things to this. 1.) I have never received a quote. Not by e-mail and not by post. 2.) If you know that someone has to relocate their entire company on July 1, then it is strange to wait until June 21 with the quotation. I had even come all the way to your office in Castricum well in advance to personally present my situation to you. If I would not receive your quotation until June 22 or 23, this will only give me 1 week to make a decision. However, the intention of a quotation is that one still has the choice to discuss it and / or to obtain other quotations. Moreover, I also understand that a moving company must organize the necessary permits with the municipality. That takes time. I also assume that you should know well in advance on which day your men should be where. That is another reason why I think it is a strange thing to read here that you send a quote on 21 June if the actual move will take place in just over a week. For me as your customer who actually assumed that you would like to move me, this long wait for a quote (which in the end never came) has caused a lot of extra stress. 3.) If you do not hear anything after submitting a quotation ... could it not even be a matter of calling the customer to ask if the quotation was satisfactory and / or if there are any questions? Then you could also have experienced that I never received the quotation. As I look back at the way this has all happened, I find again that my initial trust in your company was based on false assumptions. I can be very lucky that I managed to find another, very well-functioning company so quickly who managed to take care of and supervise the entire matter professionally in such a short time.
