Unfortunately, despite the exceptionally friendly service and the beautiful inventory, the food of the Nwe Kompas does not have the allure and choice of Kees vd Hoek. The Ravioli was downright bad, the Dover sole admittedly fine to the vegetables is nothing. The liqueurs from a nasty small size cup also gives a high irritation feeling (but that applies to more Restaurants). Only reluctantly topped up after reporting, but quietly added extra to the bill and removed after complaint. Finally, we found the tables on the terrace overcrowded and guests were far too close together instead of 1.5 meters away. The Netherlands and restorers pretend that COVID-19 no longer exists. New compass do something about that because Loosdrecht really has better choices elsewhere. Gr Mark Kok (old friend of Kees vd Hoek😌)

A while ago we had a delicious meal and drinks at Kompas. Still thought it was worth writing a review about this, because yes Kompas is really recommended! Very nice and attractive restaurant. We ate outside, where you immediately become happy with the view of the harbor / water. In addition, we have been surprised with a 5-course dinner with matching wines. This was carefully matched and tasted delicious! All in all, an absolute must. Chic, but accessible and therefore the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal or a drink.
