Trompenburgh

In very bad state, friendly people but no real information or history given. Hopefully this will be an actual educational museum soon! Is there any info about the sculpture? Why is the architect unknown??? What is going on with the horrible steel lighting fixtures? Who chose for these and why? I really need an explanation...They ruin the whole design, very unfortunate... So may questions and no answers!

17th century summer residence of famous Dutch Admiral Cornelis Tromp. Beautiful building with the oval room with some as absolute masterpiece. Not opened to public normally, just on certain days like the national Castle day. Keep an eye out for those dates! Free parking and a beautiful garden to walk in after your visit. A mostly unknown jewel.

Only opened rarely, but really worth it. The art is interesting and nicely restored. Nice grounds too.
