Hotel de Blauwe Vogel

We had an unforgettable stay at the Blue Pigeon (De Blauwe Vogel)! We, a Spanish, a Welshman and a Canadian (yes, it sounds like the start of a bad joke) decided to go on a journey from a small city in Belgium to The Netherlands by bike. We arrived on our cycling trip from Belgium in BOZ, weary legged and ready for some nourishment and some liquid courage in BOZ central square. The hotel was the perfect refuge for the night. Upon arriving we were offered the additional extra of a 'continental breakfast', this type of breakfast was new to us in the group so we had to decide to risk a change from our normal corn flakes. After some deliberations and debate within the group for several minutes, we decided to be adventurous and opt in for the breakfast. This was certainly a decision we didn't regret! Wow. What a breakfast. We had a great sleep in the room. The additional sitting room was exceptional; great space, fantastic light, a splendid decor, everything you could ask for from a sitting room. The TV was rather small but luckily there was nothing good on. Location: The location of the hotel is very favourable. The hotel is 15 ft (5 metres) from the train station and a on a 5 minute crawling distance from the many bars in the centre. Service: the owner and his staff are very friendly. On a bike trip your bike is pretty important and he helped us by putting our bikes in a safe place. Thanks again!

One could not wish for a warmer welcome. The staff is so nice. The food was very good too. And the room clean and spacious. It was brilliant that I could make my own tea and coffee. In Holland a rare treat in a hotel. Would happily go back again. Quinta.

What a fantastic place Warm atmosphier,everybody is smiling becouse everything is perfect Coffe and breakfast in the morning...lounche ,dinner...and then,late evening you can enjoy the lovely bar...drinks,nice people, and two Marco s (owners) to complete a perfect result I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!
