This was a culinary experience of, quite a high quality. Enjoyed it very much, and the service was a well oiled machine. Nice to see people who know what they are doing. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant experience. Amazing team. Hotel was a bad experience. Firs of all, 10am check out is unbelievable. Specially when you travel with a baby. Had a bathroom with a clogged shower drain. We had to barricade with towels to avoid water running all over the place. We asked for extra check out time until 12pm. If we would take it to 1pm, we had to pay 30 Euro. When we wanted to pay and asked the manager how to handle this, she had the opinion that we were given additional check out at a value of 30 EUR. She forgot to consider that my wife had to care fo the baby + managing the trouble in the bathroom. She left at 11:15 and not at 1pm.... Unbelievable! Happy to go back for the restaurant. They seem to keep up the quality of the place alone.

Hotel was great value for money, but could probably do with air con in the bedrooms. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent. Restaurant very cheffy and great to sample such inventive dishes at a reasonable price. Hotel guests that are plain eaters may need to eat in town.

Been here a handful of times over the past couple of years. The restaurant was tastefully redone since our last visit, but there are no more billiards to play. The rooms are still very noisy as sound travels down the hallways regardless of which areas we are placed in. Over the weekend nights we heard loud bass music and people’s voices from outside of the hotel until 23/24:00. Shower doesn’t have real doors so the water tends to get other parts of the bathroom wet; no facial tissues, no fridge. Nice to have a hot water kettle and a nespresso machine in the room; good (free) parking. Very nice “Dutch” breakfast, with an assortment of hot, cold, breads, and dry goods items, as well as juices (including fresh-pressed orange) and coffee drinks with very kind and attentive service members.

Due to a travel error (too long a story to write here) found ourselves in Oisterwijk looking for somewhere to stay. A local person we met in a carpark told us of the hotel and rang them and booked the last room for us. We were welcomed by name as we walked in and it just got better and better. Large, well furnished spotless quiet room. Location, 5/6 minutes walk from the town centre shops and bars. We chose to eat in the hotel, good choice. There is a large greenhouse next to the terrace from which the chef would collect a handful of fresh herbs, meal by meal. Buffet breakfast large car park and really friendly helpful staff. Practically new furniture and fittings, 2 week old new kitchen equipment, the place is a credit to the hotel trade. We have spent a lot more in some places and received a lot less.
