efteling Museum

The museum is fine. Small but interesting. There are some old animatronics, A very old Holle Bolle Gijs (talking trash can) and an art hall with sketches by Anton Pieck, Ton van de Ven and others. Anton Pieck was asked to make sketches for the Fairytale Park in Brabant. He has laid the foundation for the corporate identity of the amusement park. Ton van de Ven later took over from him. When something new is built in 'old Dutch style', it is sometimes mockingly called 'Anton Pieck Style'.

Small and interesting

So nice to see all the old-fashioned and traditional attractions of the Efteling! I think that almost all Dutch people have a memory from their youth in Efteling, and this museum does justice to that in a very beautiful way. I wonder if they will place a new museum piece for the Polka Marina that was removed last week.
