On October 26, 2013, the 90-year-old Ria Vermeulen-Welten opened the war museum in Loon op Zand, with an additional addition of this poster-sized photo with personal identity that has traveled around the world. Two years later, Frans and Alexander van Venrooij succeeded in bringing both women together again on one of the most famous liberation photos, after 71 years. This is a historic moment for the Museum “De Jaren 1940-1945 and Ned. India ”in Loon op Zand. Ria Vermeulen-Wels and Ine van Wijck, who are already aged but still very vital, are coming to the museum in Loon op Zand on Sunday 25 October at 3 p.m. There they will meet again after 71 years when this picture was taken.
