We had a great time at the Posthoorn. We stayed in early April right at the beginning of spring. The bed and breakfast is clean and easy to access. We had a great room with private entrance which makes things very nice. The host and hostess were very friendly. They provided an amazing breakfast of meats, cheeses, yogurt and bread. We especially enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Posthoorn also has a great restaurant. Be sure to get reservations for at least one night while you are were.
Walking and biking are steps from the B&B. About 5-10 minutes walk is the little town of Appelscha.
What does Appelscha have to offer? The post horn!
De posthoorn is a very cozy restaurant where you can sit and eat all evening. The service is friendly and you feel like a real guest. There is no menu, but a chalkboard with dishes that change with the seasons. The dishes are made with local produce and taste exquisite. They cook with passion and you can taste it.
Even in the summer period we had a lovely meal outside on the terrace. We come there regularly and find the price-quality ratio completely in balance. All in all, a must.
