I went to Neva clinic for a microneedling procedure. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, the service was amazing. My procedure was by Derya and she was so lovely and made me feel very comfortable for my first face procedure ever. The procedure itself was quick and while a little sore, it was manageable and Derya was careful with areas of thin skin on my face. It was followed by a moisturising and soothing face mask and some light therapy which was really nice. Unfortunately, I had some unexpected skin complications with my procedure afterwards however the team was very helpful in advising me about this. I only wish that I was given more aftercare information, maybe on a sheet, via instagram, or on the website. I was told not to touch my face and keep it clean for 24 hours. I was not told what kind of face wash to use (my current face wash contains AHA however I have decided to swap it for something more gentle) or given any skincare tips that will allow me to get optimal effects of this procedure (like wearing sunscreen to protect from UV rays that might lead to hyperpigmentation or moisturising to support my skin as it recovers). Even basic things like changing your pillow case to keep your face clean might not cross everyone's mind so having more detailed aftercare information will be nice for first timers like me who have a lot of questions. Overall, the experience was great and I look forward to more procedures with Neva in the future!
