5 GPs under a very nice roof. Yet mine is almost always on vacation, you get a replacement again. Once you have managed to get in touch with the doctor then it is ok. Telephone contact, however, is experienced as unpleasant, curt and almost brutal. In any case, intimidating. The "assistants" request all kinds of medical information before you can make an appointment. I do not think they are authorized to do so. I have also experienced that they cite things from your medical archive that they can only know if they have access to them. Privacy and medical ethics is explained differently here I think. I have hardly experienced kindness and compassion with the telephone ladies. My wife speaks Dutch with a foreign accent and therefore she is treated as if she is retarded. All in all, my confidence in this body is rapidly falling. I wonder if it is true everywhere, or if it is only here.
