Very, but also very unfriendly campsite owner. He treated us to a swearing gun because we had parked the bikes incorrectly. He did this again later when we asked for an explanation why he was so out of place. The accommodation referred to by Mr Jan as a 'log cabin' is no more than a single-walled drafty wooden shed, which is nothing like what he advertises. Heavily outdated facilities, unsafe kitchen. broken lamps, too little cutlery and dirty pans! The amenities and camping outside the cabin are just as sad. Broken canoes, poorly maintained equipment, etc. all over the site. Left the campsite before the first night started. This is mainly due to the very unfriendly owner Jan. If you want to get away nice and relaxed you should avoid this gentleman. He really ruined our vacation before it started.

Incredibly unfriendly spoken to by the owner, with the announcement that we no longer had to come because of a double booking. Fifteen minutes before arrival on Saturday evening we were informed by telephone. The owner was on his way to his private evening activity / dinner and did not feel responsible to apologize or assist. There we were on the street, three women who had come cycling from Nijmegen that day, and were unable to cycle tens of km to another destination. After 3 hours of calling around, everything in the area turned out to be fully booked because of the summer period. We are still very shocked by this bizarre bad service, after you make a booking well in advance and you can count on an overnight stay in an unknown environment.

Small barracks where you can sleep with up to four people. A bunk bed, a double bed. A toilet is in the room and a cooking opportunity. To shower you have to in a separate shower unit, there are 3 shower cubicles, they were clean. Otherwise you can sit in front of his barracks and have a barbecue. Parking is also available. The whole thing is very remote, you have to drive through fields and woods, but you definitely have your peace! Priced for Holland also unbeatable! For 7 people at 3 nights per person 57 €!
