Called because I had cut my hand deeply, after a very long wait I finally got the assistant on the phone. I indicated that I had no idea how deep the cut was but that I no longer felt my thumb. Assistant did not ask any questions about the cut but kept asking questions about "how we ended up with them because this was not the GP closest to us". This while I had previously indicated that I could not get to my own doctor (in Beesel) fast enough due to relocation. Then she kept insisting that I could not easily get to them because the Kapelerlaan was closed. Even when I indicated that I was able to do this because I am known in Roermond. After 5 minutes of discussing everything EXCEPT my wound, I called another doctor who luckily could help me. Finally referred to the emergency room because I had hit a nerve in my hand and it needed to be stitched. Very annoying experience with this practice and I think it was acted in an unprofessional way.

Nothing but praise for the knowledge and skills of Doctor Popovic. Let me put that first. Very good experiences with this friendly and skilled doctor. I will recommend it to everyone. However, I am less satisfied with the assistant. Called today for our one and a half son. For days I suffered from a high fever and could no longer fall asleep from coughing and pain. Instead of a "just drop by, just to be on the safe side" I was told that there was only a spot available in 2 days ... I could do with that. In the evening he went to the GP post, who did take the complaints seriously, it turned out that he had a serious ear infection. In combination with the high fever, not entirely harmless, and he was immediately prescribed antibiotics. The healthcare costs are expensive enough for the normal citizen, at the very least have a baby come over for a check up if you have any doubts.

This GP station is now manned by Dr. Popovic. After having received several GPs in this practice in the short term after the death of Dr. Welzen, it is outrageous how people are treated in this practice. Pause from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm and still not answer the phone while they are present with several assistants. People who are not dying may visit the doctor after a week. Whether this is simply due to poor management or is caused by government / insurers is not clear to me, But it is clear that we are now being treated less well as cattle. For cattle, a veterinarian comes at least the same day or the day after. That is often abused by people at a doctor is also known to me but there are also people who only call when it is really necessary and I think that they do not have to be the victims of the abusers. Humanity is at least expected from a doctor and his assistants.
