Bed & Breakfast At Eekst

My stay at this place was really pleasant. Apart from every single comfort that you would need in modern day the biggest added value is the countryside locality. Peacefulness and quietness is a bliss and of course... the friendly and playful sheep just outside the house. I also would like to praise the generous breakfasts, especially freshly baked pastry with all famous Dutch cheeses. One thing of inconvenience (at least in my case) is the WiFi signal distribution throughout the apartment that is consideably weak in some places. Otherwise internet speed is sufficient. In general this is a very nice place with a more than welcoming host!

Elaine was the perfect host. The apartment is roomy, well appointed, has fantastic views, Wi-Fi, TV, huge wood burner which Elaine sets for you daily, breakfast delivered to your dining room at a time suitable for you, and loads of animals for the kids. Private entrance and private gate onto property. Great location close to the Waddenzee national park and also the German border. Couldn't recommend more highly, in fact, after our February holiday, we're going back in October because we enjoyed it so much!
