It's a big church with some interesting history

Historical place, since reformation a protestant church and around 500 years ago an important hideout during a civil war ( Stichtse oorlog) in The Netherlands. Pictures are from paintings in Het Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. A commander, Jan van Schaffelaar, jumped of the church in order to save his own soldiers who were also besieged in the church.
