I had read many times on Facebook and other social media about "Diner Foyé" on Thursdays evening, when shops stay open longer. I looked up what they had on the menu for that specific day and it sounded good, so I suggested my husband that we go. We arrived at around 6:30 pm and even if there was an even in the foyè of the Odeon, the restaurant area was empty. The waiters walked back and forth, no one looked our way. The person behind the bar (right on plain sight of our table) didn't say a word to us to acknowledge thst we were there. At a certain point, waiters and bartender started joking and chatting around the bar, and we were still waiting. I started leafing the Film krant, my husband started emptying his pockets just to have sth to do. No sign from the waiting stuff. Fed up with their lack of interest in us as dinner clients, we just hot up and left. We went nextdoor to Grand Café Public where I have always had good service and good food.
