This Column of Mercurion (along the A12) is in fact the largest of several comparable columns on the same business park. Two smaller variants (visible in some of the photos) are located at the entrances to the site near the military police and the highway. Beautiful eye-catchers from car, bicycle and hiking trails, especially at sunrise or sunset. The format, material and composition are best shown up close. Artist Bas Maters created these stone colossi.
