Henk is a very friendly man, but don't do business with him. Purchased a test-driven car, but it turned out not to be in order, returned repaired, was not allowed to exchange the car properly, but although several times promised nothing came, the car returned and he would refund money ..... That has been 3 weeks now .....

Autobedrijf aan de Vaart does not comply with agreements made and no longer responds to telephone / email / Facebook / Whatsapp. On 2 May 2019 I bought a car from Henk van Rijszen (the owner) at Autobedrijf aan de Vaart in Roden. When collecting the car, however, the airbag light on the dashboard was lit, which was not the case during the test drive a few days earlier. Mr. van Rijszen then indicated that the airbag coil had failed during a repair that he had carried out. He does not have the new part in stock the same day and indicates that he is therefore repairing it at my home in Enschede one week later. On the day of purchase we make an appointment for a day and time. I then assume that our appointment for the airbag will be in order because he even says via Whatsapp that "everything will be done" and thereby confirms our agreement. (See image) However, on 10 May 2019, the day of the appointment, he does not show up and subsequently no longer responds to my messages, telephone and email. He is completely unreachable and leaves me with a defective airbag while he had promised to repair it. A very unprofessional way of acting. Also on Saturday, May 11 and Monday, May 13, I still try to reach him by phone and by e-mail, but he does not hear from him again. Mr. van Rijszen can therefore soon expect a letter from my legal aid if this is not resolved by him as agreed.
