Comfortable rooms with nice interior design and great hot shower! The hotel is perfectly located for the village and has a really nice restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed both dinner and the breakfast, delicious food and friendly staff. We also borrowed some bikes and had a great day exploring the island.

Our favorite hotel in all the Wadden Islands!! We've been to all the islands and stayed in the best hotels on each, but Schier is definitely our favorite island and this is our favorite hotel and restaurant. Longtime Maitre'd and now owner Bart is a fantastic host and a consummate professional. We always look forward to our stays here...highly recommended!!

Beste Bart en medewerkers van Hotel Brakzand. Graag wil ik iedereen hartelijk bedanken voor het fijne weekend wat ik samen met mijn vrouw heb gehad op Schiermonnikoog. Wij hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid en de sfeervolle kamers. Goed gegeten, mooi op tijd geserveerd op de ruime kamer. fantastisch stuk kalfsvlees. Het ontbijt ook op de kamer vanwege de Lock-down sfeervol geserveerd met extra aandacht voor de yoghurt. Ik kan iedereen, die van een klein en informeel hotel geniet Hotel Brakzand van harte aanbevelen.

During these times you can order really good food at Brakzand! We recommend the "delivery menu" for three reasons: a) There is fantastic cooking b) With whatsapp there is clear communication and the delivery is also for each other and c) the price / quality ratio is good. It is also neatly taken care of and they already deliver on plates and in containers. But we enjoy it when we preheat real plates in advance. And while your oven is still warm, you can keep the main course warm while you enjoy the starter.

As agreed, the 3-course menu was delivered to the door, right on time. Everything was neatly arranged and it was exquisite! Next time on Schiermonnikoog I will eat in the restaurant. Thank you very much for this great meal.
