Delicious fried and smoked fish. You have to order at the entrance bar, but menus are easily accessed on big screens and on paper. Good price, good view, big parking in the back.

I had some fried fish (kibbeling) and normally it uses to be thick chunks of nice fried fish, but this fish was cut into thin strips with an excessive greasy layer. This can only point to the management deciding to offer customers low quality fish for high prices. Unfortunately, it seems that this place wants to rip off tourists and makes a quick buck. This was the worst kibbeling I ever had. Shame on them..

Worst kibbeling I had in my life. Instead of chunks of cod fish they decided to serve thinly sliced pieces. Great for cutting cost but very bad for the experience. You'll litterly only taste dough!

Somewhere between what the Dutch call a snackbar/fastfood place and a restaurant. In the fishing port area. We had lunch last friday and came back the next day because we were hiking in the area. Decent Corona measures and they take this seriously. Terrace and take out. But if there are tables free, you can eat inside... with a view. Normally i rarely rate an eatery like this, but now i do so anyway, because of the kibbeling and the plaice filet. Perfect batter and deepfried very well, so that it was golden brown but light on the stomach and totally not greasy. I am very picky on shrimp croquettes. The ones from Zoutenbier in The Hague are still unbeatable, but here they were very decent too, be it a bit expensive at 3.25 Euro per piece. The other food was priced quite reasonably, considering that this is a popular tourist location. Overall, if you expect prices you normally pay at a patat-tent (fish and chips car), yes then you may find it a bit expensive as some reviewers mention. But realistically this is a league higher than that. Staff was quite helpful and friendly too. As a final point, they use paper/cardboard trays instead of plastic 👍👍👍. I wish they would do that everywhere by now. It was cold and windy these two days but we left with a warm feeling, both times.

Excellent food served quickly and pleasant staff with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended. It's a shame we are only passing through otherwise we we would be back very soon!!)) Portions are very generous !! You have been warned )) we were so hungry we ate before any photos so this is all that's left !!))
