Guests (including their visitors) may pick their own veggies/fruit (flexible pay scheme), watch the cows being milked up close, taste fresh milk, bottle-feed the young calves. Bring your wellies (US: rubber boots, Aus: gum boots)!
Very low serviced accommodation. No WiFi service. We had to sleep with 20 people in a one room so also no privacy, besides no sockets to charge your smart phones at sleeping room .Bad heating system. Toilet and shower were not good serviced neither. Don't recommend it at all for holidays or vacations.
Gotta love the brènding
We come back every year. Friendly owner who is always happy to help and often brings milk. It's basic, but for our group of volunteers it's perfect.
Special location. Thirty years ago too. Not much seems to have changed. Owner is very nice and relaxed. An explanation of how the stove works would be appropriate in the communal kitchen. That took a while before I got it going.
Fridge can be cleaned once.
Furthermore, it is super atmospheric if you like a little alternative.
