Nice quiet place in the Asserbos. Only the graves are very close together

The oldest general cemetery in Assen with a lot of metal fencing and a large number of graves and graves of Drenthe dignitaries, including Presidents of the court, Commissioners of the king (in), provincial administrators, etc. Two cast iron graves (National monuments) are special. both of which are an excellent example for the period in which they were made. The cemetery is currently maintained by a team of volunteers who are present almost daily in the summer and would like to tell you a few things.
