An absolutely gorgeous spot, tucked away beyond the noise of roads and traffic. Guesthouse owners super helpful and contact with them not a problem. The house has a lovely open kitchen and lounge, wide double doors that open direct to the front pretty front garden and the lake. An absolutely wonderful location, somewhere I will remember for a lifetime! 10 minutes drive from Eelde airport, about the same to Groningen, lots of easy cycling around as ever with the Netherlands and as already mentioned lovely and accomodating owners. Many thanks... I'll push work to book here again!

My visit to the lakehouse was super fun. Together with my parents, brother and grandfather and grandmother, we spent a week in the lakehouse. The setting is beautiful on the water. Perfect for nature lovers and / or people who want to find peace and quiet. Of course it is also nice to take a trip to the city. The villa is very neat and nicely decorated and equipped with everything. The icing on the cake is the boat that you can rent with it. To make a nice evening trip with sunset. We will be back for sure!

What a wonderful place! Beautiful spacious house. At the back the Hoornse plas and the view from the living room on the Paterswoldsemeer. The contact went smoothly and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We enjoyed! Recommended !!
