Very nice appeltaart with a pile of real whip cream. Pairs well with beer on a sunny day by the lake!

I took my mother out for an early Saturday eve dinner at De Paalkoepel. We just arrived in time before sunset to adore the lovely view, even this time of the year. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were quick to help my mother to use the disabled ramp and side door of the restaurant. The food was delicious, nicely presented and I can especially recommend the amazing "liquid" apple pie desert. We most certainly will come back.

Great quality food, kind service. Nice spot too, overlooking water.
