Great parking near Almere Centrum. It is usually more quiet, making it out first choice for parking, I stead of the more popular Krakelinggarage.

Effortless parking

It is very difficult if you want to leave trough the outside not to be overseen and hit by a car. Very crowded.

Large parking. There are always free spaces. Always! There is indoor and outdoor part. Choose where to park depending on where you want to go. If you park. The parking is convenient for the hospital, the weekend market in front of the Municipal Hall, and the stores in Almere Centrum. The prices are also fare. There is option to purchase daily ticket. It is definitely recommended.

Huge parking garage (P6) that has a outside and inside area. My bad 3 stars rating is somewhat personal , this is because they placed new entry machines and ticket machines , and since these terrible machines we always have issues entering with the credit card. While the older machines 4-10 years ago never gave us any issues. I suspect the camera that recognizes the number plate is not always working but i am not sure. Also the Regisseurgarage does not let us open the pedestrian door with the credit card so we have to ring for help or wait for other pedestrians to open the door with a ticket. Once we ring many times and got no help and could not get back to our car and where forced to enter the car entry when a car drove in. When the card insertion device that your credit card goes into at the entry does not flip from orange/amber to green you cannot enter with the credit card , or when it does not have a light emitting any color at all. We had numerous issues ( over 30-40 for sure in the last 2-3 years that they placed these new machines) and drove backwards many times to enter one of the 3 other entries to see if the light goes to green finally (takes 1-3 seconds to go from orange/amber to green and we encountered when approaching the camera slowly it goes to green more often and therefore accepting our credit card more often.) We pressed the help button many times and got help entering or leaving the premises and many times they rebooted the machines without positive outcome. BUT when complaining or asking why it is this bad they react unfriendly and even arrogant and they lie and do not confirm our facts ,we visit this garage for 10 years and only after the NEW machines it became this horrible. I already changed my credit card for a new one and it always works except on the new parking machines in Almere Centre. Even my wife has a new one same story. Me my wife and even some colleagues encountered the same thing at almost all parking garages in Almere , I can tell you that Greek and Spanish parking garages i visited have 5 times better assistance staff then Almere has behind the help desks of these parking machines. Ok enough negative feedback. The quality and size of this parking good. You can walk out to the hospital side (the side where you enter the parking. And outside area to the left side gives access to the esplanade square. From the inside parking area you can go to the end and then walk to the right go inside the sport 2000 and once inside you can go up to Hudson’s Bay and when you go out Hudson’s Bay you find the H&M , We Men , Zara , Siempre Rituals and many more shops. You can also pass the sport 2000 store and walk straight to the next parking called the Krakelinggarage and the walk up the stairs or take the elevator up to the shopping centre. There you find a elivated area with many good restaurants like Mexican Asian Greek and more. or walk to the left to a small underground shopping mall with some small shops and some super markets and then at the end up the stairs you find the huge electronics shop called the Mediamarkt and another shopping mall that is located at the other side towards Sake Sushi restaurant and the Casino. You can also visit the esplanade square which hosts the Rabobank triathlon in the 2nd weekend of September (each year around 8-11 September) and the theater. or Go up the huge stairway at the indoor cash desks that stair ends on the above forum square , there you find the Bobby bear cafe/restaurant the flevo doner restaurant the Sting (a huge two story well price clothes shop) the Utopolis cinema the national tourist VVV shop (where you can rent city bikes) you find the KFC and many other shops like Intertoys a KPN shop and many other shops.
