Due to the experience of the first day, we have decided to reduce the number of days for our 2 sons who participate in the water week at Haddock. The reason for this is that our boys have not had such a good time. What they did not like was that they had to swim with a life jacket, while both have a swimming certificate. There was no reasonable answer to their question why. In addition, we are not satisfied with the fact that 10-8-2020 (with this heat) only 1 apple and water was provided. Given the high price of almost 500 euros, this is very disappointing, especially when we compare this with other camps where our sons always go with great pleasure. They also indicated that they felt treated like toddlers by having to eat above the plate and play too childish games. They liked the children and the management, but given the poor care (including the absence of snacks or drinks and sunburn). We had brought a bottle of sunscreen ourselves and it went around to rub in other children and came back empty. In comparable camps this is arranged considerably better and the costs are also lower. For this reason, we have decided to only purchase the necessary days. No financial solution was possible according to the owner. We will not do this a second time!
