The old Dutch homebase for General Aviation Aircraft. Spoiled since 2019 by bureaucrates with their procedures and Air Traffic controllers with their complexity

Great airport for GA pilots. Ground staff is very friendly and helpful. Arrival: Everything perfect. Departure: Flight plan was rejected first, but the staff helped and called Schiphol to fix the issue. If you spontaneously file your flight plan at Lelystad airport, be aware that ETD (at least for VFR) must be minimum 60 minutes after you filed your flight plan. Looking forward to visit Lelystad airport again!
