One of my friends frequented the bar during our two weeks of summer school in Leiden. We joined him sometimes and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and good drinks. Interestingly, the last night, our friend was the guest of the bartender for a drink! He was very surprised and felt he has done his part in Leiden!

Great place with mix of regulars and people just there for a good time. Bar staff excellent - especially the S.African contingent 😄 so you can have a great Durban curry or lovely Fish and chips. Burgers and sweet potato fries excellent as well but most importantly a great pint of Guinness. Always has the sports on inside usually football but that's because I'm normally in Leiden midweek.

Decent enough pub with rugby, football and cricket on Tv. Can be quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights

Nice friendly staff. Drinks are reasonably priced and they helped us move outside when it was nice weather.
