Camping Stochemhoeve

I have stayed here twice when cycle touring around Holland. The first time it was pouring with rain and the owner upgraded us to the blokhut free of charge because he could see we were so wet. The second time it was dry and we were able to sit outside and feed the friendly ducks which eat from your hands. This is a family run campsite in one field which means it is cosy and everyone goes to bed early - if you want late parties, music and swimming pools don't stay here.

Best camping in Leiden! We are truly happy to have stayed on this camping, and we cannot be more thankful to Marco and his team. It is small but has everything you need for your stay. It has also a great location, 15mins bike ride to the city center, a train station near by and a natural reserve just steps away from your tent. It was really a pleasure and we hope to be back someday!

Good campsite, close to Leiden. The access is a little bit tricky as the road is narrow and it's right beside a canal. Showers and toilets facilities were clean, and there is a trampoline in the middle of the campsite that my children enjoyed. Definitely recommending this to our friends.
