OBA library of Amsterdam

I used to love working in this library when I was a student in Amsterdam. It is a bit noisier than libraries in the UK, but I got around that by bringing ear plugs. The restaurant on the ground floor was always very good, the cafe inside was also very nice and the view from the top is excellent

I'm a tourist from the US. This Library blew my mind. It has fascinating exhibits all over the building. The roof has an amazing view of the local area. I wish I had stayed longer, so I could have spent more time just in the library.

It is modern library not only stocked with books but quality art works. It is a clean shiny library. The library is highly computerized so much that I couldn't print documents by paying cash.

Magnificent library. It is large, modern and extremely well assorted. One can find all sort of books, journals, newspapers from many different countries, etc. There is a bar and plenty of space to sit to study, read or use computers. The interior is beautifully designed and decorated.

I go there for some of the (free) activities to practise Dutch, to borrow books and (very rarely) to work. It's a wonderful place, even with the Corona restrictions and measures.
