Parkeergarage Garenmarkt

New underground parking garage. Looks clean with good lighting and has a nice park on top of it. Seemed like it had enough spaces for electric cars and disabled. Also family spaces. Its five storages deep and accessible from 07:00 til 02:00. Prices are.. well.. good enough for the city centre. Though Public parking on the street for a whole day is probably cheaper than €20. (But you must be lucky to find a public parking spot if it’s a busy day and not mind the one way roads and small streets in Leiden!)

Beautiful and spacious and large parking garage. Easy to enter due to sloping parking spaces. Light, super fast lifts with windows, so a lot of view and therefore safe. Many amenities, electric and disabled. Downside, but expensive.

Beautiful new parking garage, however, it is equally important to drive up and down! You drive against the usual direction, so like in England. And, bends are sometimes a bit tight. No problem with a small manoeuvrable car, but with a large 4x4 I have my reservations ... There are also many places for the disabled and electric cars. You pay € 2.80 per hour from 07:00 to 02:00, regardless of the day and 7 days a week.

Super neat parking garage. Due to corona toilet is closed.
