Unfortunately, this beautiful church is surrounded by hideous new-build shops and apartments. The beauty of this church is therefore barely perceptible.

Good room for lectures. Friendly volunteers for coffee. Adjustment of the heating is the subject of conversation during every lecture.

Unfortunately, the time that you could walk into a church every day, as in the past, is no longer available, you usually come outside the services for a closed door. On Sunday, May 11, however, the church was known during the Korenfestival held in Alphen aan den Rijn. On the site of Alphens.nl the history of the church is extensively described, I will not comment on that. Striking elements in the otherwise fairly austere building are the Steinmeyer organ made in Germany for which no expense was spared at the time, as well as the stained glass windows that I would have expected together with the organ in a Catholic church.

Beautiful church, especially the stained glass. The organ is beautiful and a great sound comes out. During the service there is something fun to do for the children during the sermon.
