After a long search on the internet and looking at menus, we ended up at 't Oude Pakhuys. Immediately after arrival, the first disappointment came, because it was only possible to choose the tapas / tasting. Those were different dishes, which we thought was a shame. We reserve based on a menu. The employee was not overly impressed. Apparently it was a known fact that an old menu or even an old website was still online. We decided to stay and have the tapas. I found the quality of the food very disappointing. The carpaccio was tasteless and the chicken satay dry. The Serrano ham was thick and unappealing and the cheesecake was very firm and rich, like eating a block of butter / cream. A number of dishes were still tasty, but the majority were disappointing. My mother-in-law has even been sick all night from the food. Finally the music was very loud. The waitress thought so too, because she could not hear us properly. But apparently it didn't occur to her to turn it down. Not until we left, of course.

Had heard it was tasty ... My opinion is different. Apart from the fact that it is confusing for the layman how ordering works. Found many dishes too salty and peppery, which detracts from the original taste of mushrooms, for example! Second; for a normal eater (in terms of quantity), I find 36.50 € a much too high price for what is on offer !! Too bad, I expected more from it.

You can also enjoy delicious food here with kids! We already came regularly with our oldest daughter of 4. But now also with our youngest of 5 months. Choice is great, something for everyone. Anything is possible for children as well.
