Terrible degrading conditions. Frustrated staff, limited facilities, hardly any planned rehabilitation. My mother was treated like this a few years ago. Came home crying without learning to take a step but with fears she never had before .. 1 week of friendly nursing in the hospital yielded more than weeks in this rehabilitation center.

Referred to Dr. van Ingen via Medinova. Nice doctor. Heard complaints and let me walk back and forth in the hallway. However, then there is nothing to see. The problems start when I go for a walk. After a very short time I get huge complaints at the back of the knee. However, Dr. van Ingen got wind of the fact that things are not going well psychologically. Then I was referred to GGZ. As if you cannot suffer from overload complaints on your knee with depression. I really feel the difference between psychosomatic pain and pain that starts every time when walking and still on the same leg. In the end I asked for a referral to the sports doctor in Gouda. He immediately knew what it was, namely the popliteus muscle in my knee. This doctor gave a very painful treatment by piercing my heel bone 3 times and then rubbing the knee cavity very hard. It is OVER after 1 treatment. After a limp on each short walk for a year, I got rid of the pain. According to the doctor, a rehabilitation center should be able to do more for me than a sports doctor, so I should have been treated instead of being sent away, because it certainly does not improve your mind.
