Swing Gouda

Was there on a cloudy day and decided to sit outside to enjoy the view of the imposing Old Town House building in the middle of the square. It started raining and we had to move inside and were perfectly surprised by the by what we found. Live music with a very interactive and lively band performing soul, jazz and swing... Will definitely go back again, tough choice though between the terrace or the live music indoors!

Marvelous view on the old city hall, several tasty beers, good food. Nice people.Try the swing steak if you like meat.

Location: just in the center Staff and service: Friendly staff, however their English is weak Ambiance and setup: basic in the outside very sophisticated in the inside Cuisine: Local cuisine with lots of Gouda cheese! I like it price: very fair prices

Toilet requires money (50c €) Wardrobe requires (1€) Service is not too bad, tender seems a bit showy, looks quite mandatory. Thursday night is 18+, unlike the usual evenings. Be in by 1:30 A.M. 6,5/10

The atmosphere is warm and cosy by the market, but the food could be better. The portion size for the price is the biggest positive.
