Unfortunately my brother got infected in hospital
with Corona and was released from the hospital. He was still infectious at the time. We as a family had a problem: how to get him home safely? TCU-Taxi Utrecht brought the solution! They took my brother home in a special Covid taxi! Experienced and committed driver and very nice and empathetic planner! An outcome that this service is now available in these miserable Corona times!
Covid-19 taxi
My mom and I drove to corona test street yesterday afternoon with this wheelchair taxi.
From Zeist to Houten. My mother in the wheelchair (can't get out so could stay seated) and I as a normal passenger.
The driver Fikret was very polite, friendly, very helpful. We were at the test lane in plenty of time. He arranged for us to be dropped off at the front door, otherwise I would have had to walk a long way. I walk badly because of my muscle disease. He waited a while for us to finish and took us back.
My mother was fine in his taxi. He drove quietly over thresholds, secured her well. Normally she has a (for her) long ride, so not now. He wore gloves and a mouth mask. There is plastic between the driver's seat and the passengers. I felt safe. Despite our limitations, we have been taken seriously and helped. If necessary, such as we will certainly use the covid19 taxi again. I definitely recommend it.

Especially the wheelchair taxi, which I have been using daily since 2015, remains constant in terms of service, the driver really understands what is important when transporting the disabled!
