Camping de Vliert

Great campsite. The front is on a noisy road but the back is on fields and awesome. Clean toilets and kitchen and playroom even!!

Small campsite with 28 pitches on a former farm yard. Cluttered campsite, expanded ad hoc without any planning. Business mother, slightly kinder daughter, but all zero interested in their guests. Not flexible with preferred seat allocation (no, we are completely full… with 12 empty seats out of 28…). Serious? Plumbing not spectacular, but neat and clean. 2 men's toilets and 3 showers, also for this small campsite, especially in the morning, on the tight side. Fortunately, places with private sanitary facilities also relieve the sanitary block. No entertainment for children, except for a sandbox. No camping shop, except for a vending machine (ex-Febo, you know it). Hardly any lighting on the campsite, except for a single light along the oldest camping spots. At the back of your power cables tied together in twine, guided along a sheep wire. As long as the municipality does not read along ... The mosquitoes like you (according to the posters in the showers) and will eat you alive. Fortunately, they recommend a good solution. The buzzing of the A12 does start to irritate after a few days. All in all, a little maintenance to the buildings, making the power connections a bit safer, the parked caravans out of sight, a little more attention to the guest, that would be nice and I would return. Like now, continue searching ... Close to Bunnik, Houten and Utrecht, especially for days with less weather, which is nice.

Last autumn I camped here with my two young children (we stayed in gypsy wagon "de Vlierefluit"). Our nice accommodation was on a cozy camping field. It is a beautiful, well-kept and clean campsite and the reception was superb. Very enthousiastic! The new generation of owners have many great plans for the future. Nice to see and therefore highly recommended.
