Beautiful cemetery

Beautiful oasis of calm. Many old graves and tombstones, but also young graves that make you think about the busy life of the day. Old trees and shrubs that have seen more than we have in our lives and many birds, butterflies and bees. A grateful nature.

On one side the busy Gansstraat and on the other side of the cemetery a very busy railway network. But at the Soestbergen cemetery between the two, it is an oasis of peace. Lovely to walk around there. There is a walk through the municipality of Utrecht, but wandering around on your own is also good, benches are enough to occasionally once look around you quietly and muse. Beautiful those very old trees, but also those very old monumental graves are worth seeing.
