Hersteld Hervormde Kerk

In the days before May 2004 is was a good place to visit on Sundays. In these days there still was a clear distinction between law and gospel. Nowadays it is mixed up and got more and more neonomian. There is service at 9.30 and 18.30 each Sunday. Sometimes on Wednesday evenings at 19.30 a service.

Been here because the church was used as a wedding venue. Nice characteristic church, but because it is an older church it is very 'straight' benches. There are beautiful windows above the door. Nice acoustics for the sermon, no exaggerated echo. The stairs are tough for people who are disabled. Grandma thought going down the stairs was tough; It is quite steep!

I come here every week. Here you can become wise for bliss free. That by the folly of preaching. Whoever wants to get it has got it
