Museum IJsselstein (MIJ)

Historie about IJsselstein in different themes!!

Small but nice museum: the few rooms dedicated to IJsselstein have been given a sometimes enigmatic, sometimes intriguing twist with contemporary contributions. It is also one of the locations of the exhibition on the theme of 'Empathy'. The largest part can be seen in the Castle Tower, here a rather limited and diverse range where you have to make the cohesion yourself. The few photos are also combined with just as many works of art, inside and outside. An extensive brochure that you receive at the entrance does provide more background.

Small museum, exhibitions don't appeal to me. What they place in terms of art outside the museum (such as in the park next to the castle tower) is also inappropriate. I do think there is potential in it, a collaboration with the IJsselsteinse Omroep Zender Museum would be very nice.

Not just a museum! Also great for an intimate concert! Chapeau !!
