For 5€ you can park there a whole day and you get a free ride ticket too. I would really recommend to use one of the P+R if you want to visit Utrecht with the car. It took us probably 15 minutes to get from there to the city :)

A very affordable and practical park house , 15 mins tram ride to Utrecht central , €5 /day park ticket with printed inclusive tram ticket to Utrecht central station. The trams and busses are right outside the park house making it very easily accessible.
