On 28-11-2020 I placed a reservation in the private sauna in Gorinchem. Address: Twijnderstraat 19, 4204 EL Gorinchem When we arrived at 7:30 PM we were chased away by the fat Moroccan lady because we had to wait outside so that she could continue on the phone quietly. Once time was made for us, the arrogant lady at the desk told me and my partner that all bookings have been canceled due to a faulty jacuzzi. I asked what caused this and she gently told me that faeces and other excrement got into the jacuzzi !!! Dear Suzanna Pollema, Very annoying that you hide the facts like that and talk around them and give as a reason / excuse 'an electrical failure?' The fact that you argue with me like this after we unfortunately had such a bad experience with you (see above) explains the unprofessionalism. You argue with almost everyone, with literally every guest who has had a bad experience at your place. (seen in previous reviews) awful! As an entrepreneur you should respond professionally! And even threatening with camera images proves what an unprofessional / disorganized mess this is with you! Moreover, you are also guilty of violating the GDPR law, very unprofessional! And if you read well Suzanne Pollema, I will never say that we have been inside! During the booking you could only choose the option to contact: email or text message. Dear Suzanna, if you had offered compensation for travel expenses, missed anniversary or said: 'next time you and your partner come, I will make it up to you because the poor service and internal hygiene has failed . ' (as with Laura in an earlier response) I still had some respect for you and your company. Good thing I would not accept the offer, but could have appreciated it. - Hygiene not in order - Internal communication sucks - Threat from the owner, please. And if this were not the case, you still react very unprofessional in my opinion and this is already a reason for me never to come to you again. You should also take into account that you charge around 150, - per package and if you get such a bad experience for this amount of money while you serve for relaxation and rest, then something is not quite right. For me here the first and the last time already! Worst Sauna and Service Ever! In brief; - steam cabin does not work - TV goes out - sauna is only 60 degrees - Jacuzzi was 36 degrees and did not heat up - as a solution, champagne of 6 euros is offered as an alternative - no compromise in amount (while we stayed 45 minutes of the 2 hours) - dirty room Long version; On arrival we wanted to go first in the jacuzzi, we saw that there were all brown deposits on the edges and that some dirty things were floating around. However, the jacuzzi was not warm at all, the heat plate said 36 degrees. We then set it to 38.5 in the hope that it would warm up quickly. Then we went into the sauna to warm up a bit. But unfortunately the sauna was not very warm either, it was set at 60 degrees at that time. We decided to try out the steam cabin. We tried to turn it on, however, there were a number of buttons broken and it was not explained how to turn on the steam cabin. At that point, I decided to bring in the employee to help us. She was super friendly and also indicated that this normally never happened etc. She did not turn on the final position, despite attempts to also turn off the TV / fireplace (that should work, the owner told me later). So at that point everything was off, no steam room, no TV, no fireplace. At that time we were inside for 35 minutes. The employee called the owner and he indicated that we could drink for free and possibly. the champagne (at € 6). This was not enough for us because we could not use anything really relaxed and did not feel like staying, what should we do there? The employee indicated that we possibly. were also allowed to use the other space. She indicated that there is a steam cabin there that works. We indicated that the relaxation is over for us now and I did not want to change rooms in the middle of our visit. Who says it is clean and warm there? In that room we could not use the jacuzzi again. We left and I asked what we could do about the amount paid. The owner was in a meeting so he would call us back later. At 10 to 3 we left the location and later I called the owner. She felt that she had offered enough alternatives (so: champagne for € 6 and use the other room). According to her, the employee had explained well that there is a sliding door so that we could use BOTH rooms at the same time and did not have to change and that there is an infrared sauna that we could use. 1; then we still would not have had a warm jacuzzi and 2; it is therefore not well explained to us that alternative. Moreover, we could not solve it properly at the time of stay because the owner was not present, I would have preferred to have it resolved neatly. Update following response: '' We have ... an extra steam cabin. '' - as indicated in my review, this was not made clear to us during the stay. Moreover, it is not an EXTRA steam cabin, because no one present at the time could get the other steam cabin to work. There was also no other jacuzzi available so we were still with a too cold jacuzzi. '' In addition ... we have accepted. '' - this is also not true, we just grabbed a drink on arrival before (!) We were not satisfied, like any other guest, we did not take it at the moment that was offered as an alternative. Then we already had the drinks. Too bad it gets so twisted. “I came straight to the shop and the steam room just worked. The bath was also super clean. '' - how strange, according to the employee you were in a meeting and you could not speak to us or come by. At the time of our stay he was not working and your employee could not get him to work, then you should have been there yourself. For the people reading this, it is nice to know that your standard of 'clean' is lower than average.
